How much does my laundry weigh?

Without stepping onto a scale with your bag of laundry and then subtracting your own weight, figuring out how much your laundry weighs can be tricky. We can tell you that a 13 gallon kitchen bag holds about 15 pounds of laundry – or one to two loads – but first time users often underestimate. We suggest you start small and get a feel for how great the service is and a sense of what it will cost you. If you’re using Xshore Clean Wash n Fold for the first time, try just sending us pants, shirts, socks and undies and leave out the sheets and towels. We’re confident you’ll find us to be surprisingly affordable but we want to make sure your first impression is a positive one. We can tell you that customers who use us regularly, generally spend about $60 per week.*
*Bulk item pricing may apply to larger items. Please reach out to Customer Service for specific details.

What about doing laundry myself?

Even doing your own laundry carries a significant cost
High Energy Usage

Each load of laundry uses high amounts of energy. A dryer is responsible for 6% of your home's energy use. If you have multiple people in your household, the utility bills can add up quickly!

2,000 Gallons of Water

The average washing machine uses 41 gallons of water per load. Even if you do 1 load of laundry per week, that's over 2,000 gallons a year!

$115+ in Electricity Bills

Washers and dryers use a lot of electricity. The combined cost of doing laundry can add up to more than $115 a year for the electricity alone.
